The Alpha Alpha Sigma Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. would like to give you the opportunity to apply for our $2000 scholarship, which will be used towards your educational career at a college or university of your choice.
SCHOLARSHIPS
This scholarship award is given annually to a Baltimore City public or private school student. The applicant must meet the following criteria:

Be accepted and committed to a two (2) year or four (4) year institution.

Have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of “B” (3.0).

Note: For 2023-2024 SAT and ACT scores are waived

Application Requirements

Most recent official high school transcript (Official transcript MUST be sent directly to sgrhobaltimorecity.scholars@gmail.com with the student's name in the subject field)

Official Letter of Acceptance from an Accredited 4-year college or university

500-word essay justifying why you should be considered for this scholarship

Two (2) letters of recommendation

One letter of recommendation should be from a teacher, counselor, or school administrator.

One letter of recommendation should be from an employer or community leader (minister, organization leader, supervisor, etc.)
