2024 RHOER CLUB COTILLION

The Alpha Alpha Sigma Rhoer Club is excited to continue its tradition of presenting young ladies to society through the Debutante Cotillion Ball. While the ball is the highlight of the debutante season, the club also offers a range of activities that help the young ladies develop their inner beauty and grace. The program achieves its objectives through a six-month curriculum that includes educational workshops, community service outings, and rehearsals. The goal is to empower these young ladies to take pride in themselves, build their self-esteem, and make positive and informed choices in their lives. The club emphasizes that the Cotillion experience is not a beauty contest but rather a celebration of the young ladies' character, academic achievements, and deposition. Through the support of Sorority members and their supporters, the debutantes will look back on the experience as a special moment in their lives, one that helped them grow and develop into productive citizens and beautiful young women. The club hopes that each young lady will develop lasting friendships and an appreciation of self and the world around her.

For more than five decades, the Alpha Alpha Sigma Chapter Rhoer Club has been organizing Debutante Balls that have greatly impacted the lives of young women in Baltimore, Maryland, and its environs. These balls have been a source of immense benefit to the debutantes and the community at large.

We are excited to share with you two upcoming events: the Debutante Pageant on May 4, 2024, and the Debutante Cotillion Ball Program's accomplishments on June 1, 2024. For over 50 years, the Alpha Alpha Sigma Rhoer Club of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. has taken the lead in this program, fostering the growth and development of young individuals aged 15-18.
